THERAPEUTIC PRESSURE POINT MASSAGE

Therapeutic Pressure Point Therapy Muscle Technique Massage

Dr. Ronald Benson offers specialized massage therapy on every patient after an adjustment. It is a short massage session included during your chiropractic session at Berryessa Chiropractic.

Sebastian Rubi is a licensed massage therapist and works on every patient who has been adjusted by Dr. Benson. He uses the Therapeutic Pressure Point Therapy muscle technique.

Sebastian was licensed as a massage therapist in March of 2021 and has been working with Dr. Benson since July, 2021. When Sebastian was 6 years old he started massaging his Grandmother to ease her pain. As he grew, he massaged other family members and, over time, realized that it was a innate skill he had and ended up being a natural career move for him.

Very few chiropractors offer this specialized and focused therapeutic pressure point therapy massage after every adjustment. It is more proof that Dr. Benson wants only the best for his patients.

Massage plays a very important role in health and healing. Massage can benefit people who are stressed, who have tense muscles, or who need to improve circulation and lymphatic drainage.

Why Does Massage Work?
Human skin is loaded with receptor cells; these cells can record and respond to even the slightest touch. Massage therapy stimulates receptor cells and makes them release chemicals that send messages to the brain. As also happens during intensive exercise, the brain then releases endorphins -- “feel good” chemical messengers that help relieve pain and stress. Massage therapy also stimulates the lymphatic system and promotes the drainage of excess fluid and toxins from the body.

Dr. Benson advocates massage for overall health maintenance.

Dr. Ron is the best. I don't know where I would be if it wasn't for him. The office staff is amazing as well, always willing and able to assist with scheduling changes or exercise recommendations.
